The ROYAL Bath

Every time I go on a vacation I always see different types of bath's and I've always had the urge to try them whether it be chocolate, honey, vanilla or more.  In the end, I usually end up getting a massage because the price of just taking a nice bath tend to be expensive at a hotel spa. When you get back to reality I just  don't have the TIME to even think about taking a nice bath. But now its summer vacation and I just came across different ways to soak yourself with  ingredients in your every day life which will not only keep you relaxed but will also benefit your body.

You can revive your simple bath into a ROYAL experience!

Softening Milk Bath:
Mix a cup of powdered whole milk with a few drops of essential oil and add the mixture to running bath water. Milk contains lactic acid which helps remove dead skin. Depending on the type of essential oil, the aroma will either relax or rejuvenate you. As milk is rich in vitamins A, D and E, it has hydrating qualities that increase your skin's ability to retain moisture.

Softening Vinegar Bath:
Although vinegar kind of stinks in my opinion, it has the potential to make your skin soft. Mix one and a half cup of vinegar to running bath and its that simple to keep your skin soft and feel relaxed. For this bath, because it kind of smells, use your other senses to distract yourself. Set the lighting to yellow, put a few candles, and add petals to your bath!

Brightening Oatmeal Bath:
If you want to get rid of rough and dry skin, try an oatmeal bath. Take 150 ml of oatmeal and grind everything into find powder. Pour it in a bathtub and soak your body in it for 10 minutes. If you want to get more serious about your skin I suggest doing this for 10 minutes, and then just having a bubble bath for a longer and relaxing experience. The oatmeal powder may stick to your skin but use it to gently scrub off the rough skin. After rinsing your skin will feel smoother.

Indian Lilac or Basil Bath:
This is the most famous bath most people in India do because its so easily accessible to them. These two herbs are supposed to be boiled and you are supposed to strain the concentrate. Add this to water and your antiseptic bath is ready. This treats pimples and other skin ailments. These herbs are medicinal and they can also help remove scars so enjoy to relax!

If you want a more sophisticated bath, also try the Sandalwood Bath:
Mix sandalwood powder in a bathtub or in a bucket of water for a bath. For oily skin use warm water; lukewarm water for dry skin; and cold water for normal skin. The sandalwood bath will leave your skin feeling smooth and fresh! It will also help with body odor.

Sometimes we all need breaks and this could be your royal break; a vacation in your bath.

Love,
ALPHA
