In my last post, I wrote about 5 things guys hate to hear from girls, because face it girls do have standards and they are confusing. But being a girl myself, I can't help but complain about some of the habits men have. There are just somethings guys do whether your in a relationship or not that are simply, just not acceptable. Get it fixed our get out come on guys!
When your in a relationship
1. One hour later..
Your girlfriend shouldn't be waiting one hour for your phone call or text message, give her SOME attention. Whether your attention is being taken away by video games or your friends, just one text message saying "I miss you" or "I love you" I know the girl would definitely feel happy. Girls tend to over analyze so when a guy doesn't reply a rush of emotions come into their head whether is suspicion, curiosity, or simply anger. If your that pre occupied then just be honest, send her a sweet message and tell her your busy but your still thinking about her, I'm sure that would avoid a fight and avoid her nagging you about replying.
2. Don't make excuses
Just be honest with your girl its plain and simple. You don't have to use buts and however's, just tell her the truth. If you were caught up hanging out with your guy friends TELL HER. If you were just chilling out and taking a rest TELL HER. It's better to keep her in the loop than out or else she'll start suspecting and start nagging.
3. Where's my present?
Girls LOVE being pampered and getting payed for. If your going on a date, have some class and be the one to pay. If you've entered a long term relationship then this might change, but if you've just entered a relationship then treat her, she loves feeling special and superior. Not only for dates, but a girl loves her presents. She feels worthy when a guy buys her a present and it should be a nice one; something memorable. Whether its birthday, valentines day, or just some random day, make sure to always give your girl presents. My favorite presents to get are stuff toys, chocolates, flowers, jewelry.
4. You forgot?
Boys, boys, boys, NEVER forget a special date may it be her birthday, even your month anniversary, or valentines day. If you forget one of these dates or even others you are in BIG TROUBLE. Get ready for some heat and some arguments. She needs to know your invested and she needs to know that you spend SOME of your time learning her schedule and dates important in her life. Just mark your calendar or mark in in your iphone!
5. Give me some space
Don't get over controlling or possessive. I've heard and seen guys saying
"you can't hang out with your friends"
"you can't wear short skirts or dresses"
"you can't talk to guys"
"you can't go out clubbing or drinking"
GET REAL you think your girlfriend's going to be happy if she doesn't do any of these things? Your just basically asking your girlfriend to take a break from you or even worse break up. Have limits and impose certain restrictions but don't get too bizarre and don't go out of your way to become over protective.
When your getting to know a guy
1. Bad B.O.
Seriously, carry some Axe or Old Spice. Do you honestly think having bad B.O. is EVER going to attract a women? If you don't own cologne try and get some, maybe? Girls just automatically have an attraction to good men perfume, it seriously lures them. Smell yourself and take a shower before meeting a girl because your first impression counts the most.
2. Change now!
Along with putting some cologne, check your clothes. Girls LOVE men that wear good clothes. There's times my friends and I think guys simply look attractive by what they wear not their face. And for some reason, wearing good clothes makes a man look hotter and more appealing. A white t, cardigan and jeans are my personal FAVORITE. Other than that a nice polo shirt with a belt and jeans, a grey v-neck sweater with black jeans (more formal), or even just short and a nice Abercrombie t-shirt. Look clean and slick and you'll get a girl for sure.
3. Hokay Mr. Cocky
If you think telling a girl everything your good at and all the awards you've won in your life over face book chat is going to win her over, your seriously delusional. If you want to brag, brag subtly. Don't list it out or just keep talking about yourself. Af course a girl wants to know your good qualities but don't over do it.
4. Flirt with me PLEASE
Girls love men that give nice compliments and know how to flirt. It's surprising too see so many men who just DON'T know how to flirt. Fish out a few compliments at times, if it's been a couple of dates then play footsie and hold her hand here and there. Don't get over touchy and don't give too many compliments, play cool, and just be yourself.
5. Are you trying to make me jealous?
If your just getting to know a girl, you have to make sure she knows your interested. As much as she tries to play hard to get, she wants you to give her your attention and if you think playing 'hard to get' same game as her is going to work, it isn't. She's going to get mad and if she's strong enough she's just going to say "NEXT."
