R.I.P. Amy Winehouse

Tragic news, as it has been reported that British soul singer Amy Winehouse has died on Saturday July 23rd 2011, at the age of 27. The cause of the death is yet unknown. Alpha mourns the death of this truly amazing artist. Amy Winehouse is such a unique and clearly talented performer, she brought back soul and jazz. Her songs we're so different and the music was purely amazing. It's sad to loose another singer at such an early age  but she will never been forgotten.

One of Amy Winehouse's closest friends, Mark Ronson, remembers the late singer. "She was my musical soul-mate and like a sister to me. This is one of the saddest days of my life". 

My favorite song of Amy Winehouse. Her voice is so different - it's so inspiring to me and just love her tone and the soft but rugged voice she possessed. No one else quite like her has that voice - truly an individual.
