Japan and USA to the Finals!

Women's World Cup Germany 2011

After the games held in Germany on the 13th of July, we officially know the two countries who are going to claim the title of Champion and Runner Up. Both the Japanese and American women beat their opponents Sweden and France (respectively) in amazing games with the scores of 3 to 1. Outstanding! The third and fourth place game will take place on July 16 at 17:30. While the final will be played on the next day:

July 17th - 20:45

I don't know about the other Alpha's, but this Alpha is torn between the two countries she cares deeply about! Both the American and Japanese team have come so far and worked amazingly hard to achieve where they stand today. I hope that in both countries, a win for the women will lead to an outstanding change in how women are involved in sports. This (I hope again) will change the thoughts of many men who still don't have the capacity to think women are as skilled or talented as their counterparts. Fun fact though - neither Japan's or America's male soccer team has ever reached this far in their own World Cup games. So in the end I guess I'll be rooting for women!
