Fall's Makeup

Red Lips | Vibrant reds are replacing the brown-based deeper red of the past.
Products clockwise: Laura Mercier Gel Lip Color in Sweet Cherry, Burberry
Beauty Lip Mist in Rosy Red, Lancome Le Lipstique in Rougelle, and
Clinique lip brush.

Red lips have been seen at Diane Von Frustenberg, Ralph Lauren, and Missoni. To get lips like these, fill in and line lips with a red lip liner pencil and then apply lipstick with  a lip brush for full and even coverage. To make the redness last, split a facial tissue in half and lay it over your lip color. Then, brush some loose powder on top of the tissue so that it seeps through. Remove the tissue and put another layer of red.

Lined Eyes | A softer and more wearable liquid liner look.
Products from top to bottom: Hourglass Liquid Liner in Jett, Chanel Eyelash
Curler, Buxom Amplified Lash Mascara in Loud Black, and Make Up For
Ever Faux Lash Eyelashes.

Simple lined eyes have been seen in Gianfranco Ferre, DKNY, and Emilio Pucci. To get this look, line your upper and lower lash lines first, then curl your lashes, apply the mascara, add fake lashes to the outer corners, lightly add another layer of liner (to hide the glue), and finally apply a final sweep of mascara. To guarantee that your lashes are voluminous and clump free, wiggle the mascara as you apply it on your roots and the quickly brush up.

Dramatic Nails | Get a modern look with high-shine short nails.
Products from top to bottom: Essie Nail Polish in Jelly Apple, By Terry Nail
Laque Terrybly in Rich Ruby, CND Color in Dark Ruby, and Revlon Nail
Enamel in Steel-her Heart.

Dramatically colored nails have been seen at Caroline Herrera, Rag & Bone, and Jason Wu. To get these nails files them into a short round shape. When wearing dramatic and strong colors, your nails should be a short feminine shape. If not, they will look to masculine. Add a high gloss top coat to bring a nicer look to your nails. It also adds sophistication to colors such as red and silver.

Love,
ALPHA
