1. Garlic
Garlic is said to be one of the best acne treatments. While eating garlic helps keep your skin looking great, to get rid of acne, you can also cut a clove of garlic in half and rub it on the appropriate area.
2. Avoiding Oils
To avoid the build up of oils on your face, wash it with water at least twice a day. When washing your face avoid scrubbing it harshly with soap. You should also keep hair out of your face. People with bangs make it easier for oil from the hair to be transferred to their face, causing acne on the forehead. In addition, wash your pillow about 3 times a week to prevent oil and dirt to spread to your face.
3. Honey
Honey is a natural antibiotic and it contains astringent properties. Applying a mask of honey twice a week is a very effective way to help minor breakouts.
4. Vitamin A C & E
You should all know that your skin reflects your health, so a healthier diet will lead to clearer skin. To help you acne, you should consume lots of vitamin A, C, and E. Vitamin A can be found in meats dairy products and carrots, vitamin C can be found in most fruits, and vitamin E can be found in green vegetables. Or, you can simply take a multivitamin pill.
5. Water
Though it may seem simple, drinking water is essential to getting rid of acne. Drinking water helps make your skin glow by flushing out everything dirty in your system. You should drink 8 ounces (half a pound) of water as a daily minimum.
