The Break Up Ripple Effect

Breaking up with someone sucks. Well, I guess unless you want it to suck. There is often a downward spiral when you separate with someone. Cosmo states there are three main areas that hit you hard.

1) Health: You're more prone to gain weight after ditching a man, probably because you reach for foods as comfort. Instead, head to the gym! Work off your pain, anger or sadness. Exercise releases happiness inducing endorphines which put you in a good mood.

2) Appearance: Many people often change their look after a breakup. Not necessarily a good idea, since you're also likely to make bad decisions. So, stay clear of that salon for now or really, really make sure you know what you're doing!!

3) Safety: This is when you're most susceptible to agreeing to that fifth tequila shot or going home with that loner with a face tattoo...Go out with friends so they can keep you in check!! (For realio).
