Red Velvet Rice Krispies

 Make your special someone a red velvet rice krispie treat for Valentines Day!

Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons of butter
  2. 3 cups of mini marshmallows
  3. 1/3 cups of Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix
  4. 4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
  5. 1 cup of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate baking chips
  6. 1 tub of Duncan Hines cream cheese frosting
Instructions:
  1. In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter
  2. Add the marshmallows and cake mix, stirring frequently until the marshmallows have melted
  3. Remove the heat and stir in cereal, then add the chocolate chips
  4. Press into a greased jelly roll pan and allow to cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes
  5. Cut each heart with a cookie cutter and frost with the cream cheese frosting
