For this festive holiday season, my suite and I decided to decorate our home.
This is just our common room but you should totally apply some
of these decoration to your college dorm to make it feel cozy and spirited!
The overall look! (and yes that is a cardboard fire place!)
Ignore the silly boy there, and look at the main frame.
The sides are green lights (like $5 at iParty).
On the window is green tinsel with red bows and you
can't really see it but there are small ornaments on the tinsel.
Finally, a banner that says Merry Christmas
Here's the fireplace!! lolz.
One my suitemates bought it so I'm assuming it was reasonably priced.
You assemble it on your own so it's not that hard to have at all.
On top of our fireplace we have many many more decorations.
Firstly, instead of getting real stockings we had to make them with post-its.
Which isn't such a bad idea! Cause we got to personalize them and save money. WIN.
On the sides are fake candles - cause you know you're not allowed to have real ones!!
The rest are candy canes, cards, ribbon, and Santa Cards.
Oh yeah...we included dreidals too.. for our Jewish friends.
And then you have the Christmas tree.
Guess how much that was?
6 CENTS! What a Steal!!!
It's actually a centerpiece for like food but it works!!
This year we decided to do a Secret Santa so those are actual presents :)
We're having a Holiday Party tonight!! Can't Wait!!
